Jacquelynne Garner was born in San Diego, California.She has degrees in English Literature and Creative Art from UC Berkeley and a J.D. from University of San Diego Law School. She left the Bay Area ("center of the universe at the time") for a life around the world, from London and Amsterdam to Morocco, the Middle East, India and Nepal, and has spent considerable time throughout Europe, North Africa, Canada and Mexico.
