Gargan</b>&nbsp;is the author of&nbsp;<i>BTLS Access, </i> <i>First Due Trench Rescue, </i>and<i> Trench Rescue</i> and the coauthor of&nbsp;<i>Action Guide for Emergency Service </i>and <i>Personnel Vehicle Rescue, 2nd Edition</i>. He was a&nbsp;57-year veteran of emergency services and&nbsp;invented the Jimmi-Jak stabilization rescue system.</div></div>
