Garcia, Nasario

Nasario Garcia is the author of numerous books that deal with the preservation of Hispanic language, culture and folklore of New Mexico, among them Brujerias: Stories of Witchcraft and the Supernatural in the American Southwest and Beyond (Texas Tech University Press, 2007), Old Las Vegas: Hispanic Memories from the New Mexico Meadowlands (Texas Tech University Press, 2005), and Brujas, bultos, y brasas/Tales of Witchcraft and the Supernatural in the Pecos Valley (Western Edge Press, 1999). Professor Emeritus at New Mexico Highlands University, Nasario Garcia lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
