Garben, Sacha

Sacha Garben (Ede, 1982) studied Dutch and European law at the University of Maastricht from 2001 to 2005 and obtained an LLM degree from the College of Europe in Bruges in 2006. She carried out her PhD research, on which this book is based, at the European University Institute in Florence. She successfully defended her thesis in June, 2010. In 2008, she spent a semester as a visiting researcher at the European Law Research Centre of Harvard Law School.
