Jamie Gandy wrote her first novel in 2011 when she learned about the National Novel Writing Month challenge that occurs every November. Writers from all over the world embark on a month long journey to write a 50,000 word novel. Being God's ghostwriter she completed her first novel, and has since written two other books during the month of November during the 2012 and 2013 challenge.
