Gallardo, Evelyn

Evelyn Gallardo was born in Los Angeles, California. She first visited Costa Rica in 1988 as a wildlife photographer specializing in primates. She's the author of "The Best of Manuel Antonio & Quepos 2012," The Best of Manuel Antonio & Quepos 2013," and the award-winning book, "Among the Orangutans - The Birute Galdikas Story" (Chronicle Books). She's the author of more than 30 articles and has produced more than 100 videos on YouTube about Costa Rica, travel, conservation and endangered primates.
