William Howship Dickinson (1832-1913) was a British doctor. He was educated at Cambridge and later trained at St George's Hospital. He was involved in the early characterization of what came to be known as Alport syndrome. although he was best known as a physician a position he served from 1869 to 1874 at the children's hospital He worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital where he was particularly interested in children with neurological conditions.
