Jeffrey Gage was born in Montreal, Quebec, but as a baby his family moved to the Toronto, Ontario area. He spent his early childhood years there before moving to Florida. He spent about five years in Florida, then briefly moved back to Ontario. Shortly after moving to Ontario, his family's green card paperwork came through and they moved to Columbia, South Carolina, where they've lived ever since.
