Esme Ellis qualified as a sculptor at the Royal College of Art, London. Unable to continue with her chosen career when struck down by a paralysing illness, she experienced, what she terms, a 'minor miracle', when a voice spoke to her accompanied by a brilliant, blue light. What followed is a story she told in her semi-autobiography, Pathway Into Sunrise. She was also prompted to begin a new career as a writer, and a second book, a work of fiction, followed; Clea and the Fifth Dimension.
