Author L.M. Freeman and family were drawn to the area for all of those reasons and continue to enjoy exploring the rich and accessible history of Dripping Springs and the surrounding communities of Henly and Driftwood. The author was amazed and humbled by the graciousness of the area residents who responded so positively to requests for their precious photographs, mementos, and family stories.
