In 5th grade, Aleza (Goldsmith) Freeman was editor of her elementary school newspaper, the Tomiyasu Wallstreet Dragon. But it was the 2nd grade that the Las Vegas native discovered her passion for writing. She penned a poem about the many practical uses for a unicorn's horn and has been hooked on writing ever since. A Las Vegas native, Aleza is a copywriter, poet, and award-winning journalist. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) as well as the Independent Author Network.
