Barry Freeman lives with his wife, two dogs and two cats in a small house on a wooded lot in Lincolnshire, Illinois. They have five grandsons in college or beyond and travel when they can. After forty-seven years of experience litigating criminal and civil cases in Chicago, the author retired in 2004 and has since filled his time with the written word in many forms. His first book, Never Pull a Lion's Tail, a book of poetry and related photography, was published in 2006 by Camerapix Publications in Nairobi, Kenya.
