While happily raising two teenage daughters and an eight year old son, JoAnn Freeborn was thrust into the challenge of caring for her husband's parents who were both terminally ill with cancer. Five years later, upon their deaths, she determined to devote her future energy to making every effort to help others who were caring for their loved ones. She returned to school and earned a B.S. in Mass Communications.
