Sanford Fraser has been a student of painting in Paris and a social worker in New York City where he now lives. He has an A.B. degree in literature from Wesleyan University and a Ph.D. degree in art education from New York University. He has been published in The New York Quarterly, Barrow Street, Chronogram, The New Laurel Review, and Turnstile among others.
