Fowler, Maya

MAYA FOWLER was born in Cape Town in 1980. She started her schooling in Stellenbosch, but went on to spend most of her childhood in the Karoo town of Graaff-Reinet, where drought and a harsh landscape taught her to appreciate that beauty comes in many forms and resides in the tiniest things. Maya holds a BA and an MA (Linguistics) from the University of Stellenbosch, and she works as deputy editor of Edgars Club Magazine.
