Joseph M. Forshaw is one of Australia's leading ornithologists and the author of many acclaimed books, including "Parrots of the World: An Identification Guide" (Princeton), the six-volume "Kingfishers and Related Birds," and "The Birds of Paradise and Bower Birds."
