Karen Forbes is fascinated by the interface of art and architecture. Her work involves examining the creative possibilities which arrive from this dialogue. Born in Glasgow in 1962, she works between Edinburgh and Amsterdam. She has been the recipient of a number of international fellowships to support her research, including DAAD, Christoph Merian Stiftung, Beleyer Foundation, Basel, Chicago Project FOF, RMIT Australia, and the Scottish Arts Council Amsterdam Residency.
