April Floyd is a debut author from St. Louis. Her recently-completed novel, Unique, is inspired by her own experience as a mother of three, all with physical or mental disabilities. Even as a schoolchild, April loved writing assignments. Her first book, The Look of Love, was finished in 2005, but was destroyed when a storm struck her home while her computer was plugged in.
