Tina Fletcher was born in Bargo, New South Wales, but has lived most of her life in Queensland. She has lived in various places, first with her parents and siblings, then by herself moving with work commitments, and later with her husband. Living in Mackay when her marriage broke down, she stayed for a little while and then decided to move to a smaller country town for the lifestyle she wanted for her children.
