After discharge from the U.S. military, Fleming went to work as a commodity broker where he penned a weekly column on interest rate futures and precious metals and began a forty year study of classical antiquity with a specialty in the Dead Sea Scrolls and Christian origins. A second volume of high-octane rescues of relics from the turn of the era (BCE/CE) and an essay on fiscal austerity and its effect on economies in recession are on the way.
