Malva E. Filer is Professor of Spanish-American literature at the Graduate Center and Brooklyn College of the City University of New York (CUNY), where she serves as Deputy Chair. A specialist in contemporary narrative, she has written books on Julio Cortazar and Antonio Di Benedetto.
