Fiebiger, Balinda

Balinda Fiebiger worked as a children's librarian in Scarsdale, New York. In 1984 her husband's company removed the original torch from the Statue of Liberty. Inside they found a cross. She has written a young adult novel of the creation of the statue, and the mystery of the cross, titled, The Statue of Liberty and Gigi. Although she lives in Taos, New Mexico, she maintains a position of the Liberty Enlightening the World Foundation.
