Michael Jacobs has written extensively on art history and travel and is currently the Senior Honorary Research Fellow in the Spanish Department of Glasgow University. Born in Italy, he studied at the Courtauld Institute, where he earned a degree in art history. He is the author of numerous books including "The Most Beautiful Villages of Provence." Francisco Fernandez is professor of photography at the University of Granada. His work has been exhibited throughout Europe and the United States and his photographs appear in the permantent collections of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
