A psychological suspense novel, "The Piper's Sons," was a USA Today and Barnes & Noble bestseller and was nominated for best novel by the Pacific Northwest Booksellers' Association. His other novels include "Morgan's Mill," which weaves history of the Civil War and Underground Railroad into a contemporary narrative of suspense; and "Two Graves for Michael Furey," a literary thriller.
