Vic Feazell received his BA in Social Work and Religion from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 1972, and a law degree from Baylor School of Law in 1979. He was elected to two four-year terms as District Attorney of Waco, McLennan County, Texas, where he was active in the courtroom trying the most difficult and lengthy cases himself.
