Michael Fallon lives in Baltimore with his wife, Ruth, and has taught creative writing, composition, and literature at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) for the last 26 years. He was an editor of Puerto del Sol, a founding editor of The Maryland Poetry Review, and president of the Maryland State Poetry and Literary Society. Fallon won fellowships in poetry from the Maryland State Arts Council in 1988 and 2009.
