Daouda Fall ("Dave") was born in Dakar, Senegal. He is a community activist, poet and proprietor of a rustic seaside inn called Chez le Poete in the Senegalese town of Toubab Dialaw. Daouda has also lived in the United States, Italy, and Germany. He is fluent in several languages, including French, Italian, his native tongue of Wolof, and English, the latter being his favorite.
