Evans, Yara

Yara Evans was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but has lived in the UK for the last three decades. She has spent most of her working life there as an academic researcher and has only now embarked on the 'fun-road' to writing fiction, launching the first title of the series The Adventures of an Urban Fox, "Maggie Arrives" in the Spring of 2015. The stories about this friendly red fox were inspired by the antics of real-life foxes that have visited Yara's back garden in East London(England) for several years now, including Maggie, her favourite fox.
