Evans, Robert A.

Evans is the founding executive director of Plowshares Institute, which is committed to education, research, and dialogue for a more just, sustainable, and peaceful world community. He studied at the Universities of Yale, Edinburgh, and Basel, and earned his doctorate from Union Theological Seminary (New York). An ordained Presbyterian pastor, he served pastorates in urban and suburban congregations, and as a professor in seminaries and universities in New York, Chicago, Uganda, Fiji, and Hartford.
