Evans, Art

Art Evans began his automotive career as a sports car racer during the 1950s. He went on to run a public relations and advertising company representing automotive-related enterprises, serve as a director for the SCCA, publish "Sports Car Journal" magazine, produce and direct motion pictures, teach photography, and work as a cinematographer on commercials. He has also authored a number of books about motorsports, many covering his close friend Carroll Shelby.
