Escoffery, Shaida

Shaida Escoffery: Born in Brooklyn, NY, to Jamaican parents and raised in Miami, FL was the recipient of the 2013 Atlantic Coast Conference Innovation and Creativity Fellowship for her writing at the University of Miami. She used this opportunity to publish her first novel Idle, Wild, Love. She is an alumna of the University of Miami. Light Brights and Darkies is her second publication.
