Nora Ericson's first book, The Bravest Chipmunk in the World, was written at age six and hailed (by her mother) as a work of literary genius. Quite a few years later, Nora studied writing for children at Vermont College of Fine Arts and further developed her interest in stories about exceptional creatures of all sorts. She herself is perfectly ordinary, but she enjoys the company of people who are a bit odd, like her big sister, Lisa. Nora can be found in person in Portland, Oregon.
