Wendell Endicott's day job was Director of Sears, Robuck, and Company in Chicago in the 1920s and 30s. He his passion, however, was the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and wrote many works about his adventures, including Adventures in Alaska and Along the Trail, as well as this volume on somewhat warmer climes. Dr. Paul Rich is a member of the Palm Beach Historical Society and founding fellow of the Florida Historical Society. As a boy he spent some sunny days with his father and grandfather on their boat as they fished off Palm Beach.
