Noha Elmohands was first led to poetry by her younger sister. Unlike a stereotypical older sibling, Noha looked up to her sister and was mesmerized by her natural skill with words. Writing poetry for all the wrong reasons, Noha's attempts at poetry were lack luster. It wasn't until she saw her first live spoken word performance, that a fire was ignited. Ever since witnessing poetry live on a stage, it has never left Noha and she, too, has never left it. Poetry is the music that makes the heart leap, the eyes shed salt, and the skin ripple in shivers. -Noha
