Nancy Harbert Ellsworth found her home on the concert stage at the age of four, when she performed her first violin recital at the College of the Pacific in Stockton, California. She nurtured her talent through the years, studying with Lucie Bruch, Naoum Blinder, and Efrem Zimbalist, and earning degrees from Mills College and the Curtis Institute of Music. Her career includes positions with the Denver and Pittsburgh Symphony orchestras.
