Elliott, Marianne

Marianne Elliott is a fellow of the British Academy and director of the Irish Institute, University of Liverpool. She is the author of several books, including "Wolfe Tone: Prophet of Irish Independence" and "The Catholics of Ulster: A History". In 2000 she was awarded an OBE for services to Irish studies and the Nothern Ireland peace process.
