Elam, Caroline

Sir Michael Levey, formerly Director of the National Gallery, London, is the author of a number of catalogues and books, including Painting and Sculpture in France 1700-1789 (Yale University Press, 1993). CAROLINE ELAM, Andrew W. Mellon Professor, Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts, National Gallery of Art, Washington, was editor of The Burlington Magazine 1987-2002.
