Appeared in Stern, The New York Times, London Sunday Times, Frankfurter Allgemeine, El Pais, Paris, exhibited at the ICP, the Pompidou Center, Photographers' Gallery, Museu de Arte de Sao Paolo, Museu de Imagem e do Som, and awarded the Leica Medal of Excellence twice, The Ernst Hass Award, Picture of the Year Award (1996) and the Higashikawa Award in 1999.
