Byron Edgington is a retired commercial pilot who flew more than 12,500 hours in the cockpit of twenty different kinds of helicopters. Edgington's career took him all over the world, starting with a one-year tour of combat flying in Vietnam, twenty years flying at a hospital in Iowa, many exotic, dangerous, and even a few boring flying jobs like counting power poles in the MidWest, and reporting news and traffic in several large U'S. cities.
