Larry Eddings was born the last of eleven children into a migrant worker's family. He grew up with a strong work ethic and an awareness of the many varieties of lifestyles represented in the human family. At the age of fifteen he met his future wife to be at a summer church camp. They were married upon graduation from highschool, and at this writing, have been married 61 years. They have two grown children, seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
