Katie Eberhart and her husband Chuck Logsdon lived in Anchorage for a few years; then in 1983 they moved into a Matanuska Colony house, a log cabin built in 1935 near Palmer, Alaska. The house and ten acres became a roll-up-your-sleeves project that lasted for decades. Improving, expanding and renovating the house. Growing vegetables, fruit, and berries.
