Charles (Chuck) Loebbaka is a retired journalist who began his career as a newspaper reporter/editor covering government, politics, law, crime, and the syndicate. After earning a journalism degree from the University of Illinois, he was a reporter for the Star Newspapers (Chicago Heights, Ill.); award-winning editor for the Hollister/Pioneer Newspapers (Wilmette, Ill.); and free-lance writer for the Chicago Sun-Times.
