Sandy Eastoak is a painter and poet whose life among trees grounds her art in communication and belief common to ancient and indigenous cultures, and vitally needed in our own. Her art and writing support the imagination and courage of environmental activists and protectors of native cultures. Currently her focus moves northward, where thawing permafrost threatens to hasten climate disaster. New projects and alliances will be devoted to water and ice.
