John Dzwonkowski, now 64, is the long-ago co-captain of Maryknoll College's varsity soccer team, a position he achieved by actually showing up for every practice, and then even being willing to carry the equipment out onto the field for the team. He merited the stature of co-captain for no other reason, in fact; as he was elected in what was his second season of ever playing the game.
