STEFAN DZIEMIANOWICZ is an independent scholar and writer. His previous books include Bloody Mary and Other Tales for a Dark Night (2000), The Core of Ramsey Campbell: A Bibliography and Reader's Guide (1993), and numerous anthologies. He has also contributed to Publishers Weekly, Washington Post Book World, and New York Review of Science Fiction.
