Michael Dyer is a professor of Computer Science at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He received his Ph.D. in computer science (CS) from Yale University (New Haven, CT) in 1982. He also has an M.A. in Anthropology from Temple University (Philadelphia, PA), an M.S. in CS from the University of Kansas and a B.A. in English from Dartmouth College (Hanover, NH).
