Dutton, Monte

Monte Dutton has covered NASCAR racing full time since 1993. He is motorsports writer at the "Gaston Gazette" in Gastonia, N.C., and his work also regularly appears in "Weeklies" FasTrack and Area Auto Racing News and monthly publications "Inside NASCAR "and "Racing Milestones". Another book by Dutton, "At Speed: Up Close and Personal with the People, Places, and Fans of NASCAR", was published in 2000. A graduate of Furman University, Dutton lives in Clinton, S.C.
