Lecia Kennie is a New Orleans native. Inspired by her son's vivid imagination she decided to put their adventures on paper. She received her bachelor of science in nursing from Dillard University, and also double majored in Early Childhood Education. While in the program she realized she had a passion for youth development. All of her stories are reflections of outings with her son. "If we can have fun, see new places, and learn something new we haven't wasted a day."
