There are few things that haven't been said about Tristan Durie. "How did he get up there?," for instance, but then he was never much of a climber. He is a thirty-something, six-foot-something, ninety-something kilo writer, reviewer, ex-lawyer, former policy-writer and occasional derivatives trader. He takes for granted an annual holiday and an admittedly sybaritic existence with his girlfriend Sarah in their Bondi flat. The Paperless Indetective is Tristan's first novel.
