Dupre, Louis

Louis Dupre, T. Lawrason Riggs Professor Emeritus in Yale University's Department of Religious Studies and one of the preeminent philosophers of religion and culture, is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a foreign member of the Belgian Academy of Arts, Letters and Sciences. He is the author most recently of The Enlightenment and the Intellectual Foundations of Modern Culture (Yale).
